Bikhai is a sword and board warrior type who is currently in Whiterun looking to join the Companions. And only one Altmer isn't fun either. I think the reason why Khajit aren't an option is because very few Khajit travel from Elsweyr to Skyrim. You don't have to build a whole new character you already have him around most of the time if he is your follower so why not I say.
And I've got a thng towards them Bosmer. I know that this is not the sims but its a simple fix and it would make me and a lot of other people happy. If your Khajiit has a house, perfect. I can see having only one companion with you at a time, but to not have them recognize your home is really. I am not one of them, unfortunately. I can't think of any good reason for why there aren't any Bosmer spouses, especially since Bolli in Riften is married to Nivenor, a Bosmer woman. I never new why would Hircine change a cat to a dog pointlessly. And they didn't fix it with a patch because either it was more work than they wanted, or like Kiadony said, they lacked the recorded dialog. I don't want to have to track him all over the place to find him again and would rather he hang out at my house.
