Have to make the macro manually because the title does go in by itself like it used to do. Scammers have been attempting to get people to type out lua scripts into their chat box that do various nefarious things. Should fix it right up. I will go back and edit out the instances of script in the macros. Check this please: first problem was about graphicsCompatibility, I fixed but later it gives this error: Why all these happen? However, unlike castsequence, it uses macro text for the commands instead of spells, and it advances every time the button is pushed instead of stopping when it can't cast something. I do not remember ever getting that message when I started using the program.
Ok got it working was probably syntax error, but now it outputs everything in chat. It escapes me at this time. Sign up for a free GitHub account to open an issue and contact its maintainers and the community. I have been searching and I cannot see any errors. Just did this and it works fine.
Running scripts could compromise your character causing the loss of items or gold. The addon is actually quite simple in its current form and unless they go out of their way to break it, it will continue to function in legion. I don't want to compromised anything on my account, but I sure do want to use the GnomeSequencer. Either the original creator, or someone who is able to fix it to work again when Legion releases? That being said, I have no way to verify anything until they enable addons on the test realms and start inviting authors. Thank you so much for your reply! I''m in the midst of a move right now across the country and my home gear is still in transit. The addon is actually quite simple in its current form and unless they go out of their way to break it, it will continue to function in legion. I changed it and it compiled but I still get the former error: test.
I've tried everything, Lua Error blockers, uninstalling certain mods, not even looking it up online has helped. The unexpected symbol near ' ' is only a warning. You can either re-code to the new display. So it's pretty much useless as an addon. I tried the GnomeSequencer this evening since the Legion pre-patch. When it gets to a barrel it needs to find out how many seeds it needs to drop to have 4 once again, to be ready to run again. Could someone please look at my code and see if there is something that needs to be modified.
This is a small addon that allows you create a sequence of macros to be executed at the push of a button. I can't get it to work in WoD, let alone Legion. I've never had that problem with lua. Figuring out what code is being executed may be a bit harder, although still very easy as it'd just be detouring RunString. Thank you for the fast response. I''ll take a peek at the problem here in the next couple of days when my stuff lands , unless you get a fix before hand. Also, RunString isn't any stronger than having plain Lua code in the file, it just allows a person to change what code might be executed as well as attempt to hide that code.
It escapes me at this time. That being said, I have no way to verify anything until they enable addons on the test realms and start inviting authors. But it shows other error which is related to sprite usage. Here is an example with the new syntax: There also is a converter, although I'm not sure how well it works. I have figured out the basics of using it on one of my toons. As an aside, I did all steps above, and the addon is not working as intended, with regard to the scripts. It's just a reminder that you should trust the source of the code that you're running before trying to run it.
Just did this and it works fine. So I ultimately just ended up deleting the entire folder, through the server control panel while the server was offline. As an aside, I did all steps above, and the addon is not working as intended, with regard to the scripts. Does anybody have any plans to possibly ensure that this addon will work in Legion? Either the original creator, or someone who is able to fix it to work again when Legion releases? Once I had started the server back up. Just did this and it works fine.
That being said, I have no way to verify anything until they enable addons on the test realms and start inviting authors. I tried to figure it out and ended up making it stop working so had to reinstal. But nothing, even yesterdays macro does nothing, did they change something in today's patch? I had changed a few files within that folder that caused a few errors. I can''t really take a peek at the code just yet to see what''s going on. The code uses sprite which have since been deprecated. This issue and what you're describing have nothing to do with each other.
